What’s In My Purse?

Day 8 – 31 Day Blog Challenge

Today, I get to tell you what’s in my purse. I remember growing up and having boys in high school always get nervous looking in a girl’s purse. They always thought we carried deep dark secrets in there. But the truth is now out.

We just carry everything we could quite possibly need. At least that’s how I was. I had something for every occasion, and would need to buy a new one every couple months because it would get so dirty. Now, I would never think to treat my handbags that way. Mainly because I spend so much money on them, and also clutter makes me sick.

So what’s in my purse today, you ask? Well, if you remember a month or so ago, I made a blog post about all my favorite handbags. Right now, I am carrying the giant cream-colored bag – the same one I took to London and fit my Macbook Pro inside. It can fit a LOT in there. Funnily enough, I’m barely carrying anything at the moment. Read below to find out exactly what:

  • In the outside zipper pocket, I have my badge to get me into the building at work. I never take it out as it scans through the bag. Super exciting, I know!
  • In the inside zipper pocket, I have my headphones and some pills. Getting juicier..
  • At the bottom of the bag is Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Screenplay, my wallet, a bag full of lipsticks, lotions, and Band-Aids, a bag full of Motrin, a Harry Potter pen, a cosmetic mirror, and a note telling me I have a parcel to pick up.
  • Then I have my keys, and key fob to my car.

And yes, that is it. I keep it simple and clean. Again, I hate clutter and messy purses really tend to gross me out. Organization is what gets me through the day because my mind is generally a bunch of insane thoughts constantly streaming around.

What do you keep in your purse that you never go without?? Comment below.

I'm a bluntly honest person who loves to write about my life without a filter. I won't pretend that everything is perfect all the time nor will I shy away from telling you when things are perfect. Life has it's ups and downs and I'm here to try to make sense of mine. Publicly.
