Autumn Outfit of the Season

I went a little wild when Autumn fashion hit the stores in August.

I started buying things from ASOS and New Look and Zara. I’ve bought a lot of new trousers for work, new jeans for my social life, a few new jumpers, an adorable Fall romper that I cannot wait to take for a day or night out somewhere, and this outfit here. A corduroy co-ord.

A rust coloured corduroy blazer with a matching button up skirt.

I actually saw it on a fashion blogger on Instagram and immediately went to ASOS’ website and purchased it myself.

Unfortunately, they sent me someone else’s order and when I went to purchase it again -as I didn’t want to wait two weeks for them to clear up the issue (because that’s how long they told me it’d take to even hear back on a resolution) – they had run out of most sizes.

I had to purchase the blazer in a bigger size.

I checked to see if it was ever available in the smaller size because I would have liked it to fit a big more snug, but it was out of stock very quickly so I had to keep it as is.

It was an unfortunate situation, but I could not sacrifice giving this outfit up and was fine with a slightly oversized blazer.

The best thing about this outfit is it can obviously be worn together. But the pieces can also be worn separately. I’d love to put this blazer on with some high waisted jeans. Or put this skirt on with a black turtleneck jumper.

I wore it to work and got so many compliments on it that it’s actually made me love my outfit even more.

Autumn fashion is literally the best. And I’m loving what 2018 has to bring. Stripes, corduroy, big jumpers, skinny jeans, high waisted trousers, and so many different kinds of chelsea boots that I can’t ever pick just one pair.

For any of you wondering, after a month and half and all my pestering emails to ASOS’ customer care, they did eventually refund me my money from the initial purchase. And so because I would love to be able to give you guys the link to get this exact outfit, I can’t. Not only because I’ve definitely learned my lesson when it comes to shopping ASOS. And that is – I don’t think I’m going to anymore. But also because it’s completely out of stock.

However, there are so many outfits like this out there and I want you guys to buy your own. So I’ve found a few other similar outfits, click on the links below to find your favourite! All of these are insanely cute. I want all the corduroy!
